My First Weekend On Thiola

I can definitely see how people who are d-penicillamine intolerant can experience some of the same issues on thiola. This weekend has been pretty pathetic. I've been in bed most of the time thanks a constant headache that has been teetering between average and migraine-strength. I haven't experienced nausea though.

With the d-penicillamine I had that killer migraine over my left eye and projectile vomiting that lasted all night. Thiola just makes me uncomfortable and lethargic, but I think I'm already getting used to it. Unfortunately, I have a long road ahead of me because I'm only on 200 mg total in a day, and I've read that most patients with no prior complications start out at about 800mg. I'm glad he took my previous interaction into account.

So ya, this weekend was a bummer. I had plans, but instead I passed some of the time paying homage to Beavis and Butthead, by going to Meriam-Webster's website and laughing at the recordings of random naughty words. I think cocksucker was my favorite. I wonder if someone sat there and had to say all of those words, or if it's a more sophisticated version of Microsoft Sam.
